  • 0:02-0:58 KABC at 6PM, A hospital within a hospital: This was a one minute long segment aired during the stations dedicated COVID-19 hour highlighting the innovative steps Loma Linda University Medical Center — Murrieta took in early March 2020 to expand capacity to treat coronavirus patients.

  • 0:59-3:55 KTLA & KABC A family shares their gratitude for the staff at Loma Linda University Medical Center — Murrieta for the care their grandfather received after suffering complications from COVID-19.

  • 3:56-9:08 Back to school lunches featuring Cory Gheen, MS, RD, assistant professor of nutrition and dietetics and chef at Loma Linda University Health School of Allied Health Professions. This five minute segment provides tips and recipes for parents to make healthy lunches for their kids.

  • 9:09-14:14 This five minute segment was for the Alzheimer’s Awareness Month campaign featuring Drs. Dean and Ayesha Sherzai, co-directors of the Brain Health and Alzheimer’s prevention program at Loma Linda University Health. The pair spoke on how stress can contribute to developing Alzheimer’s and provided stress management tips.

  • 18:52- 21:00 CBSLA, Inspiring graduation walk: this five minute segment features former Loma Linda University Health patient, Alex Harris, who after suffering a spinal cord injury relearned to walk again in nine months just in time to cross his high school graduation stage. Pediatric neurosurgeon, Tanya Minasian, DO who performed the emergent surgery to save Alex’s spine was in attendance to cheer him on.
